WUSME at COP28: Side Event and Exhibit confirmed

Side Event and Exhibit proposed by WUSME at COP28, in association with Partner Organizations, have been officially confirmed.

The Side Event, scheduled for Dec 3, will be held in collaboration with Association Française des Entreprises pour l’Environnement (EpE) and the Regional Center for Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency (RCREEE) focusing on “MSMEs facing energy transition: innovative solutions in finance & technology for value chains”.

The panel will bring together speakers and experts from the Partner Organizations and their international networks to discuss best technology answers in agriculture & industry and financial solutions for MSMEs, bringing concrete cases for businesses and climate change adaptation, the Presentation of a publication on businesses and climate change adaptation with EpE and Arab Future Energy Index on energy transition with RCREEE.

The Exhibit, to be held on Dec 1-3 in collaboration with the Aspen Institute, will focus on “MSMEs and Crafts facing the energy transition: technology and financial best practices” and showcase  technology answers and financial solutions for adaptation, clean energy transition, climate-smart agriculture and industry, to mention a few. The Exhibit will also be a space and moment for WUSME to welcome international Delegates, share insights and discuss opportunities for collaborations.
