Meeting between WUSME President with FAO Director-General in Rome

On August 20th, President Barbara Terenzi had the opportunity to meet FAO Director-General QU Dongyu at the FAO Headquarters in Rome.
On the occasion, Ms. Terenzi briefly introduced the two Organizations she chairs, the San Marino-China Friendship Association and the WUSME, World Union of Small and Medium Enterprises. During the meeting, discussions touched on global challenges such as adaptation to climate change, global food security and agrifood systems transformation, and the contribution of the private sector, in particular SMEs, in addressing these challenges and agreed on the need to leverage their potential, especially in developing countries, to improve nutrition and food security.
