2024 SME Assembly – Europe’s flagship event for small and medium-sized enterprises
‘SMEs: Shaping Europe’s Future‘ is the tagline of this year’s SME Assembly, which took place in Budapest, Hungary, from 18 to 20 November 2024. The selected tagline reflects the pivotal role that small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) play in shaping a prosperous, thriving future for Europe.
SMEs are the vibrant key pieces of Europe’s economic puzzle. Every piece, every single SME, matters in solving Europe’s economic challenges and unlocking its economic potential. Hosted by the Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the SME Assembly 2024 featured high-level panels and interviews, expert round tables, interactive workshops, informative masterclasses, and numerous networking opportunities. As in previous years, the event culminated with the prestigious European Enterprise Promotion Awards (EEPA) ceremony. As the most significant event for SMEs in Europe, the SME Assembly contributes to stimulating Europe’s enterprises and equipping them with the right tools for the transition towards sustainability and digitalisation.
