Michele Orzan, an Italian eco-social leader with eclectic military-humanities-business-capitalist-socialist and ethnic-minority based education, sold his company YOPPI to Coca-Cola International and decided to redistribute his lucky stake in the form of education and world-improving initiatives.
He is the president of EuCham – European Chamber, the institution representing international businesses and their ethical side.
As a Digital Leader (Europe) of the World Economic Forum, he supports country leaderships, contributing to their countries’ adoption of innovation in order to provide a better life to their citizens.
Michele founded the GREENWILL worldwide movement for a green globe – www.greenwill.org – an open-source, free-for-all, nonprofit initiative spanning over 120 countries and translated in 40 languages, considered one of the simplest yet most innovative environmental initiatives of our times, supported by sustainability institutes, business schools, governments and businesses across 5 continents.
Regarding human development, he is participating in the conceptual development of the Universal Declaration of Human Responsibilities.
Lately he is also designing GreenAdvisor, dubbed the TripAdvisor for the environment.
Other posts and involvements include international organizations, nonprofits, NGOs and social businesses: NESsT Europe, the European Business Awards, the Global Startup Awards, the Climate Reality Project, JEUNE – Young Entrepreneurs Organization of European Union and other institutions.
In his free time, Michele passionately mentors young leaders and entrepreneurs, following his grand vision of enabling anybody with passion and drive to easily enter the leadership virtuous circle.
