Jacques Vassal is Mechanical Designer at Inertia Product Development.
Bilingual French and English with more than 10 years of experience in computer-aided design and product development.
He has developped a wide variety of products from vehicles, infant car seats, hospital equipment, kitchen appliances, optical devices, autonomous robots and many more. His 25,000 hours of SolidWorks modeling allows him to be an expert in plastic molding, 3D printing, machining, welding, structure, piping, DFM, surfacing, PDM and FEA.
His philosophy has always been to work fast in the early conceptual phase to give the possibility to explore all directions, then to slow down as the project gets more and more defined with more attention to details.
He has experiences in every step required from simple concepts to finished products ready to be used: benchmarking, product definition, prototyping, testing, DFM, quality inspection, assembly instructions. For complex or simple projects and for single units to large production quantities.
