Romania-Italy Economic Forum, business opportunity
ROME, March 17th, 2017 – Romania as a market for countless products, from hi-tech to agriculture up to services for tourism. SME, thus, as source of know-how for a country, Romania, which shows a strong growth. With these assumptions, the Romania-Italy Economic Forum took place in Rome on March 17th, 2017 at the headquarter of Unindustria (Union of Industries and Enterprises of Lazio). The conference, in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania in Italy and the economic ministries of Italy and Romania, attracted representatives of the European institutions and 200 entrepreneurs. Also present the WUSME Ambassadress in Romania, Silvia Morosanu, upon invitation of the President Eugen Terteleac and Vice President Cornelio Dinu of the Bilateral Chamber of Commerce Romania-Italy as well as the Former Minister and Adviser to the Economic Department of the Embassy Romanian in Rome. “By participating in the Forum, explains the WUSME Ambassadress – I wanted to give my contribution in creating relations and conditions of economic synergy between states, institutions, businesses and individuals to promote the process of development and internationalization”. WUSME is today shaping as an international network and platform to facilitate the emerging of conditions for an effective implementation of SMEs projects and seize the opportunity of developing business in Romania, as well as to enter into fruitful and productive collaborations.
A close market
The event has been an important opportunity for SMEs participating to collect significant economic information in the business advantages and opportunities existing in Romania: ICT (Information and Communications Technology) and biotechnology, investment, promotion of national products and services, international trade, outsourcing and identification of new markets. The President of the Chamber of Commerce of Romania in Italy, Terteleac, invited SMEs to seek opportunities in Europe and in countries such as Romania using the European funds in undertaking interesting projects. The subject highlighted by the representatives of the Romanian Institutions, the Minister for the Romanians Abroad, Andreea Pastirnac, the State Secretary at the Ministry of Transport Dragos Titea, is the same: Romania is a country with high growth, a plan for modernization carried out with strong investments, in search for know-how not only in hi-tech, infrastructure and construction, but also in more traditional sectors such as tourism and agriculture.
